Augusto, the new creation of the Italian choreographer and performer Alessandro Sciarroni, proceeds with an in-depth exploration of the human voice and of laughter. Developed thanks to a minute and sensitive study of audio matter, the piece establishes a strong physical connexion between the performers and the spectators. Together, they look for a state of euphoria, close to trance, with an obsessional quest chanted by multiple bursts of voices and laughter.
