Espèces d’espaces is the title of an essay by Georges Perec. Espèce [Species] and Espace [Space] are two poetic, philosophical and scenographic obsessions of Aureline Bory.
With Espæce, a portmanteau word that contracts the two notions, the polymorphic creator shows the well-read inhabitants of a polysemous piece… Beset by the uncertain game of a large roulette wall, five actors unfold their treasures of gestural grammar. The rhetoric of isolation, the dynamic of breakaway. From flattening to contortions, the actors, dancers and acrobats challenge your imagination with the moving wall.
