Inspired by the black irony work by Samuel Beckett, May B is probably the most emblematic piece of Maguy Marin. Since its creation in 1981, it has been performed more than 700 times throughout the globe. As a major piece of the contemporary repertoire, it can be currently (re)discovered with young Brazilian performers, during a long-term transmission/recreation project jointly led by Maguy Marin and Lia Rodrigues.
